Welcome to the Rio Grande Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. The Rio Grande Chapter encompasses all of New Mexico and part of West Texas with approximately 118 real estate appraisal professionals including 84 members who hold either the MAI or SRA designations, 12 Candidates for Designation and 23 Practicing Affiliates.

The Appraisal Institute designated members have met rigorous requirements relating to education, testing, experience and demonstration of knowledge exceeding the minimum standards required of appraisers who are merely state licensed or certified.

Two Permanent Full Time Review Appraiser Positions in:

Lakewood, Colorado (Western Suburb of Denver)

OVS assignments are contemporary and challenging, requiring a thorough grasp of appraisal standards and theory, yet within a framework that seeks innovation and objectivity. Working with the Bureau of Land Management, the Public Lands Division covers a broad geographic area, protecting remote corners of national wildernesses as well as tackling valuation issues within “urban” frontiers. OVS has a respected staff of designated appraisers, operating both independently and collaboratively on advanced level appraisal projects.
